What is a cusp birthday?
If you were born on a day the Sun was moving between two signs, you're 'on the cusp.' Because sign-change dates shift year to year, only an exact calculation — like this one — tells you which sign you truly are.
Do I need my birth time for my sun sign?
Generally no. The Sun stays in each sign for about a month, so your date is usually enough. Birth time only matters on a cusp day when the Sun changes signs during that date.
Is my sun sign my 'real' sign?
